so i'm off for surgery at some point in september to whip out the nasty Crohns bit of my belly. fantastic- slighty nervous about the being chopped up but i could not have a better team for my op if my mummy had hand picked them (she works in the theaters in the hospital)- top surgeon and choice of 2 brilliant anaesthatists who know my mum will hurt them if they break me :) perfect!
but! i will be out of action for 2 months (so expect even more champdoggage when i am recouperating) and on sick pay :( now sick pay is a wonderful thing, all hail social security, but its £75 a week, which is not a lot to live on especially as i will be back at work only slightly before christmas :(
so being a practical person i can tanking in the overtime at work- knackering yes, probably making me more ill, yes, but i feel fairly needed and worth it- IF THEY WOULD PAY ME RIGHT!!!!
missing a fair whack of my wages this week which i can't get back till next friday- rents due this weekend (thankfully i have it already but they don't know that), i have bills that are due and its the end of my partners pay month so essentially bills are on me (we have an arrangement). raging and upset- they simply don;t care that they are messing about with people lives (this is i assure you not a one off- there was quite a queue this morning about wages)
anyone else driven to distraction by incompetant employers?
