Wow thanks everyone for the quick replies.
Fifi thats an interesting point about the compression issue. I wonder if you could complain about that.
Looking at the info I have a few issues on warranty and the way they offer free items.
They also state the mattress should never be turned. Interesting that.
Right the warranty side is a bit funny. Reading their discription of each mattress only the deluxe version comes with a 15 year warranty then further in the book it reads all mattress are covered by a 15 yr limited guarantee. I wonder whats limited?
Also if you buy the Tempur bed base with their mattress it too is covered by a 15 guarantee with no mention of limited with this guarantee. It does not state what guarantee the bed base would have if bought by its self.
They also have an offer where on a leaflet you see the words '2 free pillows**'
Then you have 'buy now & receive 2 free pillows**' with ' purchase a Tempur mattress and get 2 pillows of your choice absolutely free'
Great this looks good but hold on the small print, thats those lovely little words that are hard to read wink wink tells me it subject to availability and the deluxe pillows are not included. Also the 2 free pillows are on offer if a 4ft 6'' or larger mattress is bought. If you buy a 3ft or smaller mattress you only get 1 subject to availability. Don't you just love the small print.
As I'm a fussy git the whole leaflet is so badly designed I could not believe it. They use light coloured fonts on a light background making the reading of their leaflet very hard for me and this included their order form. If you had problems with your eyes then forget it, its that bad!! My father could not read it apart from the finance section which is a black font on a white background, very nice marketing where its made to catch your eyes.
Now for a company that spends millions on development and working with hospitals and medical associations why oh why is there no thought about the ease of reading a plain and simple leaflet. Very poor marketing.
Perhaps a topper would be a better option for my father.
I hope you don't mind me ranting, guess as I am fast approaching 40 I'm turning into a grumpy old man :)
