I too use the vaccine, as a matter or course, precautionary... I can only vouch for two of my girls girls, my other girls have only been mated just the once, but I mated Tia for the second time.. and without the CHV since it was impossible to source... her 1st litter with the vaccine was 10 good strong healthy pups.. her 2nd litter without the vaccine was 9 pups, lost one due to cleft palate, but remaining 8 are again,, good strong healthy pups.. Emma had a litter of 3 pups without the vaccine, and her second litter was also 3 pups, with the vaccine... she simply produces small litters, but her ovulation dates were very different each season.. and premating her was quite vital...
I do think the vaccine helps protect the pups and gives some cover but I cant see that it can or does affect fertility.. could be down to differing ovulation dates and timing.. or simply that as your girls get older, her fertility is declining.. quite normal really...
