Norty norty girl :-D

I give mine mostly raw but I do cooked sometimes if I decide to cook up some veg...

My delivery generally is  Lamb dinner, Tripe, Chicken & Liver, poultry necks, liver,  natures menu Banquet nuggets & Tripe sticks.

Mines also love the natures menu treats.

> Mine sure wont be eating any more of it in its raw state

Why :confused: I've been feeding it (together with chicken wings etc) for 8 years and never had a problem :) :) I'd never cook any of the Prize Choice meat (if you are feeding a raw diet, why bother ?? :D )

Hi - just to say Landywoods will put in my freezer for me in my outshed!

I have had a couple of bags of chicken which smelt a big funny but have never had a problem with any other items bought from Landywoods and have been having from them for quite a while now.

other suppliers didnt have any problems sourcing meat, I did wonder if they would, but we had our order of 400lb chicken and 100lb tripe delivered with no problem at all from TPMS.

They had problems sourcing the meats affected by Foot & Mouth... Beef and Lamb..Not chicken

I didn't get lamb ribs, but they quite happily sent and charged me for 18 huge beef knuckle bones. Also received lamb and beef tripe, lamb breast, and beef mince so not sure foot and mouth came into it. Seemed a strange substitution - I would rather the ribs had been substituted with another similar edible item like lamb breast, if anything. Don't have room for a giant bag of beef knuckles. The only reason I can think why they did that is because the price for the 2 items was the same (£3.50) - I'd already paid and we'd just cleared the problem with the refund so i guess they didn't want to be owing me any more money!

That same order I opened the door at 8 and the whole load was sitting on the driveway  They definitely didn't ring, as the dog would have gone ape. Nice of them to give me a lie in, but birds had pecked through the plastic bags and were thoroughly enjoying themselves and a pig leg I defrosted yesterday had 2 blow flies on it frozen in time!

I could understand problems happening once, twice, but this has been consistent for several months now.

As i already said in my previous post I certainly wont be ordering from them again.
But I will say that the delivery was ok..came early in the morning and was still frozen,
so I have come to the conclusion that this tripe was off before it was frozen at their end....It has cost me almost £200 extra in vet bills...all because they sell gone off meat...
That was my first and last order from them......

> Claire - how on earth did you get a refund for the lamb/tripe mix up and I didn't

I hadnt paid, so they told me how much to knock off the invoice - and if they hadnt have said I could I would have anyway ;)

Paxo, unless it has been confirmed you meat was off and that was the reason for your dogs illness I would be careful as you could be sued for slander.

I think the written word is LIBEL... Slander is spoken.
