ARGHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Why is it that when OH is away, EVERYTHING goes wrong??!

Was woken up at 6 this morning by a loud clanging sound.  Rushed into my 3 yo sons room to find he had obviously been playing monkey and decided to hang off his curtains which subsequently brought the whole rail down and a huge chunk of plaster with it .

I then go downstairs to find Misty had decided to gnaw at the wall .  Please note though that for the past week we have been decorating the whole house ready for our out-muster and we had to wallpaper 2 strips in the hall where Misty had previously done this...... YEP...... the exact same place (it had 101 coats of paint on it to blend it in and match the existing paper ;)).

THEN........................ with the back door open while I sorted through some washing, I suddenly think that Misty has been quiet for a while so go outside to find a patch of at least 2 ft square where she has been duly digging in the middle of the grass (again, the garden was tidied and some grass relaid).  Mud and stones and tufts of grass everywhere .

You might think this is enough for one person to cope with before 9 in the morning.  BUT you're wrong!!!! As I am inspecting the damage done to the grass and trying desperately to rescue what grass I can, I didnt notice Misty had gone to the "loo" and I duly stepped back.  AND I was wearing flipflops! To top it all off, I think had got the hint that all was not well and decided to go indoors, forgetting though that her paws and legs were covered in mud     My poor carpets!!!

ARGHHHHHHHH!

Normally I can be really calm about these things but having spent a week getting the house up to muster standards (I am sooooo sick of woodchip magnolia, its untrue) and everything has to be immaculate including the garden.  Luckily we haven't cleaned the carpets yet as we wont do this until the last day.

Oh well, nothing else can go wrong today............................. can it?????????? :D :D :D :D
