
Well I wonder which company will/did get the patent? I am surprised the dog fencing people haven't got hold of the idea. It would have been a real boon for me when I had my leaping Belgian as her fence leaping was legendary and led to her death.
I had ended up with 7 foot gate and wire overhang, and she then proceeded to test the rest of the fences which were 6 foot. Ended up using a tie out chain on which she nearly hung herself one until I worked out the length that wouldn't reach any boundary on a running line. I only used this when I couldn't keep watch on her, and the day she died I thought her safe to have loose as I was in the kitchen watching, nope she went over.
Don't think there is anything worse than living with a determined and crafty escapologist.
What started her doing ti was not boredom, but fear. she was afraid of fireworks and hot air balloons, helicopters etc. Living in Bristol these are very common.
