I got dust mite allergy.
My mum kindly paid for me to go private to get tests done.
As my GP was insistant that it was either the dogs or cats and I'd
have to rehome them..did say was very surprised to become allergic to
cats and dogs since always having them in my life since I was 4yo...
So told her wouldn't rehome my animals until I was 100% certain what was causing
my allergies (stuffy sinuses, itchy/runny eyes, sneezing, asthma)
Turns out no allergies to the animals at all

Can you imagine how many people
have rehomed their pets on GP's advice and it's not their pets causing the problems!!

Turns out it's Dust mite allergy, which also can cause asthma..my asthma started when I had a cleaning job..
thought it was the cleaning products I was allergic to but it was the starts of the allergy only I didn't realise it.
Yes haveing more animals creates more skin scales which is what DM's feed on but since changing and washing one's
bedding at 6o degree's, using a dyson hoover (or a similar allergy friendly one) I've not needed my asthma medication
for years! Whoo-hoo :D The only blip I had was when the steroid nasal spray that I was prescribed and using well gave me
oral thrush - so I had to change medication. But it's still under control thankfully.
