
I think the main obvious difference is the size of the males. I have owned both sexes and found although I rehomed my male at 12 mths (due to my own ill health) he was kind and gentle just like my female was at that age. However having seen other males (older) they are funny with other males. Also if you watch some of the older dogs around the ring the dogs will eye ball each other which the females don't. Of course this is probably due to being stud dogs.
My female was sweet and excellent with people, children and all other animals (dogs, cats, chickens, sheep, pigs even a hamster).
I love the males but for me I'd probably get another female over a male.
Why not visit lots of breeders at home and at shows and meet all their dogs. I did this yrs ago and you will see the differences but you will also decide on a breeder too. Whatever you choose of course, choose temperament!!!
