I only managed to watch half of this but discussed it with a Veggie friend who actually said that it had changed their view :)

I spent 18 months of 'abuse' working there and hope now we can see the benefits of working WITH animals now :)

The options consist of 2 negatives, one neutral and only one positive.  What about adding "don't like the idea of animal testing but have to admit that I have received the benefits and so have my loved ones whose lives have been saved due to it and so would be a hypocrite to not agree with it"?

The poll is too biased. My personal stance is that I don't like the idea at all, and I think that pharmaceuticals should be investing more into developing alternatives and should be more strigent about applying the three 'R's, but that I wouldn't refuse life-saving treatment for myself or my loved ones or *anyone* because it had been developed using animal research. I admire people whose morals are strong enough to do so, but it's not my case.

I dont know enough about it! But if it helps others then I think its a positive thing. :rolleyes:

I agree, an option for yes agree with animal testing but for medical reasons only would have been better. I doubt there are many people who agree with animal testing of non essential products.

They should use human volunteer's instead.I am sure there would be plenty who would do it for a small fee,or even for free.
I can not handle the thought of monkeys,dogs,cats or any animal with such intelligence and trust as these animals housed in tiny cages 24/7, poked and prodded and put through pain,all in all live a completely miserable life,all for the benefit of a completely different species to themselves,the selfish,self destructive human race!

Sorry but having a father who is still alive due to the use of Insulin I could not say no I don't agree with animal testing.  I don't agree with the use of hair products, make-up etc. being used on animals though!
