A little earlier I was taking Felix (6 month pup) out to the garden to toilet before bedtime. I went back in the kitchen to get myself a drink and all of a sudden I hear extremely loud fireworks, very close by. Felix came tearing back into the house, obviously terrified :( it took a while for him to calm down (my parents attempted to comfort him but I told them not to - I just stayed with him but acted normal and gave him a few treats) he was backing into the far end of the house with his tail right down between his legs. He has heard fireworks from inside the house before and been fine with them. After this, I don't know how he will react in the future :(
I'm SO MAD

that some stupid, ignorant people could cause my dog to have a firework phobia for the rest of his life. I am really hoping that it wont have affected him too badly.
After about 20 mins when he had been calm for a while I took him outside again and he was fine luckily.
I think he would have been fine if he had been indoors. They just started a few seconds after letting him outside... and then stopped within 2 minutes :(
Are there any new firework regulations coming up? (a ban I hope...)
