Hi Caroline
There are as many opinions on "which food" as there are possible foods themselves! Why not ask for alternative suggestions from your breeder or if you're a member of the Breed Club from there :)
It's a contentious issue on here - if you use the [search] facility you will find it has been debated at length many times over.
The bottom line IME is that we sometimes have to experiment with foods to find which one(s) our dog
enjoys eating and that also keeps the dog in fit, healthy condition :) When you've discovered a diet regime/routine that provides these needs, then IMO that is the best food for that specific dog! Don't chop and change too often or too quickly as this will cause tummy upsets and, even if the tummy copes well, will not give you a long enough period to assess if there are any changes for better (or worse) in your dogs over all condition.
regards, Teri
