If I was working in someones house and I wanted to take this out, how much would it cost me I wonder. Has anyone any ideas.
All replies welcome.
Are you self employed? If not, it is your Employer's responsibility to take out a Public Liability Insurance which would then cover you, the cost can vary as to the nature of the business.
Im thinking of starting a painting and decorating business, so I will be self employed.

My OH has this and it costs him about £230 per annum. That includes his employers liability too though.
Just out of interest what does your OH do for a living.

Builder. :-)
my OH is a carpet & upholstery cleaner & his PLI is around £120 for himself :)
We have a mobility business and ours is around £1500.00 per annum.
