I am responding to you wheaten mad even though i didnt post the original, but i wouldnt have a wheaten because i dont think i could get on with the grooming aspect. A lady who has given me loads of advice and tips has loads of wheatens, (about 6), and she was breaking down the times it took to groom each dog, depending on thier like/dislike of grooming and i thought nope not for me. The same i would say for all long coated breeds. I wouldnt have a small dog as i am not very observant and spent most of last year apologising to a relative for standing on her yorkie. Gorgeous dog but not for me. I also wouldnt have a bull terrier of any kind. My sister had a stunning staffie, really lovely dog as soft as anything but his sheer strength was too much for me. Funnily enough i like dobes and weims although i have a beagle. I love his barky howl i think its so cute. We decided not to have a big dog as my husband wanted a dog to live with us not us to live with a dog, (his words not mine) so we looked at medium sized breeds due to my clumsyness and chose a beagle after researching temperament etc. Incidently (although these words are not usually said together) my beagle after lots of hard work and a very good trainer is obedient. To all the people who are offended please dont be, if we all liked the same there would be only one breed of dog in exsitence and most of us would be single
