
Don't trim them up like you would for a pom! Firstly, if your in touch with your breeder go back and speak to them about it!
The reason you won't find much on grooming in the breed book is that you really don't have to do that much too them. With mine I bath him a day or so before the show and then dry him with a high powered hair dryer/blaster to make the hair stand up. You obviously have to try and avoid them getting a parting on their backs. Some dogs are better done the day before the show, others about 4 days to a week before, it depends on the coat.
the only trimming you need to do is under their feet (as short as possible) and around the sides of their feet, not inbetween their toes or it makes them look like they've got cloven hooves. You may also need to trim up the back legs as far as the hocks, but not too short, just to remove stragly looking hair.
