Hi Nepal, whilst Sables are not permitted to be shown in the breeds home country, the USA, they are allowed to be shown here, in the UK However, we only have a very small Sable Gene pool over here, and Sable and whites, rather than solid sables, have more quality and therefore much more success in the showring in the UK. We have had 1 Sable &White Champion made up in the breed, an imported dog., in the last 10 years. There have been some succesful Sables in Canada, but I am afraid I do not have any knowledge of them any where else in the world, or even if they are allowed to show under FCI rules. I think the most important thing to consider, after you discover if Sables are permitted where you will be showing, is if the dog is actually an excellent specimen of an American Cocker, regardless of colour. So many people get fixated on the colour of their preference, especially if a rare colour, that they concentrate fully on colour or markings, and ignore the basic essentials - however goo the colour is, you need to look at the dog underneath it first. You will then have to bear in mind that being an unusual colour, you may have to suffer not being considered by some judges, or being judged less favourably especially if you have American judges visiting. Hope this helps a little
