thanks earl, how much have you got to lose?
how have you done this weekend Dylans?
was having a real laugh talking to my friend on sunday, her fella although a keen runner is really overweight & could prob easily lose 4stone.....anyway she told me he intends to do the london marathon....this april!!!!!!god it will kill him!
- By scarymary [gb] Date 25.01.05 13:59 UTC
im not doing aswell as you michelle its comming off very slowlyive only lost half a pound probably because i carnt keep away from the biscuit barrel, thats my only downfall ive stoped picking at the kids leftovers its just the biscuits!!!
- By michelled [gb] Date 26.01.05 11:40 UTC
slowly but surely!!! must be good!!!! :) at least its in the right direction! :)
- By earl [gb] Date 26.01.05 13:49 UTC
I want to loose as much as I can ... ideally another 1 1/2 to 2 stone.  I've lost 2 1/2 stone and I do feel much better, but another 1 1/2 to 2 stone would be fab.  I'm a bridesmaid in June and I don't want to be rolling down the aisle behind my size 6-8 cousin.
- By michelled [gb] Date 26.01.05 14:04 UTC
oh sounds like my bridesmaid moment!!!!!!
the other option is to force feed your cosuin chips & choclate until june!
have you had the dress fitting yet? cos once you do that you have to stay the same!!!!!!!!
- By earl [gb] Date 26.01.05 23:19 UTC
Yup, have the dress ... opted for a lovely evening dress, which I picked myself.  Can't afford to put on an ounce.  Would be much better if I lost more!   Also have the most gorgeous (and most expensive  ) sandles I've ever owned.  My cousin won't even go near anything like cheese or bread, so there's no chance she'll let even the tiniest bit of chocolate or chips past her lips.
- By michelled [gb] Date 27.01.05 09:00 UTC
is she ill?
- By michelled [gb] Date 27.01.05 09:29 UTC
colour of dress?
i had lovely sandles too,silver ones,they were £50 in a sale!!!!!!
- By earl [gb] Date 27.01.05 13:44 UTC
Nope, she's not ill, just very, very, very strict with herself.  My dress is a purpley colour and my sandles are a sort of gold / silver that will hopefully reflect the colour of the dress.  Managed to get my dress in the sale, but the shoes definitely weren't!  :D
- By michelled [gb] Date 28.01.05 09:55 UTC
my dress was cresise! but was better than it sounded,in some light it looked bluuish & in a different light it looked silverish, when really it was kinda pink!!!!!!
i had a fake tan cos it made me look really pale

I've stopped losing and started gaining. I am getting used to fish and salad. :(
Trying hard to stay away from bread and potato but struggling loads. Was away last weekend and ate like a pig undoing all the good work.

My colleague has an interesting theory....she's concerned about people living in a famine, she thinks the food we send will harm their tummies so she thinks we should eat the food, then suck it out and pump it into them already digested......hmmmm:D
- By michelled [gb] Date 01.02.05 11:06 UTC
oh no spook!!! keep at it!!!
i havent lost any this week, but havent gained either. sometimes i do that, lose one week & not the next. plus i had mmy  period last week which makes my will power nil!

- By Brainless [gb] Date 08.02.05 19:30 UTC
Don't worry I am still stuck, but have had odd binging days, among the good.  Started wel yesterday and goung to see a whole good wek out and keep fingers crossed.

I think dieting in Winter is so much harder, it is easier to be energetic and happy with sliming food insummer, like lots of fruit.
- By ClaireyS Date 09.02.05 12:47 UTC

You need to eat to lose weight, if you dont eat enough your body goes into starvation and something happens to do with muscle and fat (cant remember what but you put on weight)  The heavier you are the more points you have.  The new weight watchers thing is "switch" where you can do "full choice" where you work out your own points depending on your age, height, weight and activity levels or you can do "no count" where loads of different foods are free and you can eat as much as you want until you are comfortably full then you have 21 points a week to spend on snacks and other stuff that isnt on the no count list. if you want to PM me your age, height, weight and what sort of job you do (active, not very active, office) I can work out your points for you :)

Hi all
I bought the book and I've found it fantastic!
Only problem is, the CD is so relaxing I often fall asleep. Does it still work through your sub-conscious? My appetite has halved and I eat much more slowly without giving it a thought!!
