
She is, luckily, a very good Mum indeed, looking after them, but still restless. Thank goodness she's doing all her digging in the garden (much to the detriment of the few plants there!)
She goes off her food intermittently, also her drink, but again, luckily that comes back in fits and starts, so her milk production isn't too affected.
The vet said that oxytocin doesn't have too much effect at this stage, when he gave her the last one a couple of days ago. I presume that the suckling has much the same effect anyhow? Anyone clued up on any homeopathy that might come in handy? Have tried Caulophyllum already.
Wonder how long a placenta takes to disintegrate (awful thought) - if you can stop it turning into a pyometria just with good old Synulox?
