My daughter was asked last night at ringcraft to take a dalmation in the training as the owner of the had her hands full with a puppy.
My daughter is now curious - are dalmations stacked or free standing when showing.

I was told though (not by anyone on here though) that free standing and baiting are 2 different things. :) One done with food, the other with no food as the dog stands relatively square when he/she stops.
Could be wrong though. :) I've not been showing that long.

No, baiting is simply using food as a reward for good standing, and to keep the dog's interest, because it needs to have its tail wagging and ears alert.
