Mmmm
Occasionally, when i am caught off guard and Rocky is off lead adn there is a 'victim' type dog ahead (that'd be anything small, male, in-your-face, poodle, collie, beardie..........there is a type, but its hard to describe).... the absolute WORST thing i can do, is shout at him.
Second to that , i must NOT go and get him, the closer i get to the other dog, the more likely it is there will be an incident.
So, if you ever meet a black and tan wire haired staffie x, with the owner walking briskly in the OTHER direction, shouting 'come on then, hurry up'...... im NOT being irresponsible, im trying to defuse the situation!
I must point out...... in all the 'incidents' we have had.. not one has resulted in bloodshed (nor was ever likely too!), he just pins dogs down and asserts his dominance in a VERY unacceptable way!
