I was at the park last summer with all 4 of my boston's and a father and his son walked by and he yells at me those are not PitBulls are they!!! He didn't sound nice at all, and I had all 4 in a down till he yelled at me then they all got up barking at him lol :D .

When my staffie (brindle and white) was 14 weeks old i entered him in an ex dog show, he was in the class dog the judge would like to take home. He got placed 1st and the stuard said The winner is the boxer puppy!
I shouted he is a staffie, she said yes thats what i ment!

al the time!!! I have Vizslas and they always get mistake for wiems! the fuuniest one was when I had a guy tell me id been done! the wiem was way to smalll and a terrible colour!

I felt bad today as this woman came up to to me with her black Belgian Shepard puppy and I said ''is it a cross breed?'' i have no idea WHY I said it?!?! It didnt even look like a cross!! ahh well. She didnt seem to mind and just laughed! Maybe its because Im so used to meeting cross breeds! Its easy to mistake different breeds (not like I did! but some breeds do look very similar!)

the funniest (or not, depending on how you look at it...) thing I ever heard was my OH's story of how when he was younger he went to a market in Ireland and there was someone selling guinea pigs as lab puppies!!!! apparently he sold the lot....this was about 20 years ago, but honestly....can you imagine these people trying to housetrain the poor little things....I know it was in Ireland, but really....

people always think Tally is a Weim too (she's a Vizsla) the best one though was this weekend - we had a workman round and he asked if she had Doberman in her..we were just about the explain that she was a Vizsla..when he started saying that he thought she was a Dobe x with lab and how mongrels were usually much nicer dogs..and that we had a beautiful mongrel!!..couldnt be bothered explaining as he seemed v happy with his diagnosis!!

i think its funny!-but sad! but funny!
