Re-reading my earlier post I see I did not make my query clear. Yes I did realise why dogs like milk, and that it is not a lot of good for most dogs, but my question was not about adult dogs as such. I was wondering if it could be used for weaning puppies. I was I have to admit surprised at my dogs reaction to this milk, as my ordinary cows milk they never ever beg for. It was by noticing their reaction to the buffalo milk that made me wonder. Curiosity really.
When I brought home the milk in the shopping bag, they dived into the bag and tried to drag it out. Usually they don't bother with the bags. I also noticed it did not separate, into the cream and watery milk underneath, but like sheep and goat milk stayed whole. My adult dogs do not normally have milk of any kind.
