Hello everyone
Me and Laura were wondering if you guys could help us ?
We now have our amazing ickle baby westie, he is 9 weeks old and he is so great. We have had him for a week now and we love him to bits. Our question though, and what we need help with is, in the week he lives with laura, and at weekends laura and jack (the pup) come and live with me. I have a 14 yr old mungrel, the two were introduced last weekend, and there was no barking or biting or trouble at all. Which we were very happy about, we everytime we put them together they were both held because jack is so small and weak, so we wanted to be safe.
This weekend jack is back again, and again there is no trouble, but sweep (the older dog) seems to be kinda scared of the puppy. We put them together to say hello, and sweep will be ok for a few moments, but then he seems to get very unsure about the puppy and he quickly moves away as if he is frightened. Has anyone got any advice on how we can make sweep feel better, and not scared of the little pup ?
We really want them to get on, they are both great friendly dogs to people. And we love them both
Luv Simon and laura
