Hi,
There are several threads on the topic of "One pup or two" where there has been a lot of discussion.
Very many breeders won't sell two pups together for that very reason - it is
much more hard work training two pups at the same time. If you are used to multiple dogs it's not so bad, but I personally wouldn't do it again. When training any pup you need to watch it constantly and concentrate fully on it. Multiply that by two (because training needs to be done one at a time) and there is very little time left in the day for anything else!
By far the best idea is to get one pup first, train it how you want it, then get another pup a year or so later as company for it.
