The boston terrier is much smaller and only comes in brindle/white, black/white, seal/white, most common bl/w most prefered br/w. They should not weigh any more then 25pounds and have full color desired, no white heads disqualified, nice even blaze, white front legs and white legs up to the hock in the back (desired markings) must be evenly marked through out. People tend to like the bl/w more because they are more flashy but the true color is brindle which I like.
Where the boston bulldog is bigger and suppose to be what the boston originally looked like before it became the breed we know today. The boston bulldog can weigh any where from 25 to 45 pounds and can come in all colors like the bulldog, they are pretty dogs but remind me more of a pitt. I have a pic of one of the original Boston Terrier had a white head and brindle body male whelped June24,1895 Breeder: T.B. Seary Owner:Fred H. Speed the bostons name was Ben Butler-AKC 47974 his parents were Buster and Stella.
