Hi

My names Tan

Me and my partner are working from home indefinitely and have been considering a pet dog, I owned a pet American bullmastiff in my college teens and now I am literally going crazy trying to find a male white Siberian husky with blue eyes. If anybody has a litter or has a pending litter or evan the last one please contact me.

Kind regards

Tan

Are you planning on getting into Sled sports or Canicross etc?

Siberian Huskies are not an easy breed to own purely as a Pet

They are very active, yet are very unreliable off lead, with their need to run easily becoming list, or getting into danger/trouble.

Experienced owners and breeders NEVER let them off lead, as they also have a very strong prey drive..

They are keen escapologists, usually needing jump climp.and dig proof enclosures.

Many.Husky breeders suggest those interested in their breed attend Sled.rallies to see what Huskies need.

Those.I know in the breed often suggest a less high maintenance Spitz breed for those who are attracted to the breed.

The larger, but less hyper Malamute is often easier.

Even better purely as a Companion would be the White Samoyed(Reindeer herder/sled dog),

My own Wolf coloured breed (Norwegian Elkhound).   There is also the larger Swedish Elkhound (Jamthund) which is not recognised by UK Kennel Club, but there are a few in UK, or can be imported from Europe, as can the West.Siberian and East Siberian Laikas. These are all large game trackers.

The Eurasier was bred to be a Companion breed, and cimes in many colours.

Down in size you have the Wheaten coloured Norwegian Buhund, Finnish Laphund.

Huskies are extremely sort after but right only for a small few. This leaves breeders being contacted all they time by people that shouldn't own one. I'm sure you've done your research so this doesn't apply to you but sadly too few people do and breeders have become understandably suspicious.

The questions you should answer in your first contact, to increase the likelihood of a positive response from the breeder.

What is your lifestyle?
Do you have a garden?
How is your garden secure? How high is your fence? Tilted in top? Dig proof barrier?
How much exercise do you and what type of exercise?
Do you want a dog to walk off lead?
Do you have/want small pets?
Small children?
What experience do you have with huskies?
Why do you want a husky vs similar looking breeds?
What do you want from the dog? A sofa companion or a jogging/biking companion, sledging competition?

Look at the breeders page/website if they have one. If you can mention a few things off it it shows that your interest in a pup from them specifically and not another time waster that's mass messaging breeders that's likely found a pup before they get back to them

Good luck
