I used to go with this - nothing like for how long a Basset will retch - plenty of time to get newspaper in front before it appears. NOT SO with my current Basset who upchucks without very much prior warning at all. Perhaps his stomach is located nearer where it comes from, than my home-breds!!
Poor dear may well be confused.com in terms of not upchucking indoors. But then again what's going on could simply be she's eating up too fast (although if that bounced, it should come up pretty much immeduately?). I guess time will tell if she has a slight gastric problem going on - this is a time of year when too many of us all, overindulge with rich food!
I've had bitches who'd regurgitate for their puppies, but again, that happened pretty soon after eating, not a couple of hours later.
