It must of been really bad if supervet had to pts the dog He didn't, he saved it. The other one had been PTS by a different vet.
does kc not step in and do something about it .they are suppose to promote happy healthy dogs and breeding ??There's nothing to even say they were KC registered. Lots of people think "papers" doesn't matter for a pet so will buy unregistered pups -possibly bred from endorsed parents.
But when you watch supervet etc their is so many dogs with issuesAnd a lot of them totally preventable -but that's what puppy farms and back yard breeders do, they do no health testing. Again there's nothing whatsoever to say any of the dogs came from good breeders. It's all these BYBs giving good breeders a bad name, as the general public do not understand the difference.
when i first started showing i was shocked tio see hound bred with really bad hip win bob.hound group and then bis i was told that owner/hanlder could show 3 legged dog and still winWell that's obviously not correct. The odd dog that does not move well occasionally slips through, but general speaking a dog without good movement stands no chance. If a lame dog wins it should be reported on the day.
