Thanks dill, yes I m following up on the ears tomorrow just in case there is still a problem. He has reluctantly done basic thyroid tests and given her the once over but it didn't included eyes as far as I can remember. he wasn't keen on doing thyroid tests as felt it was unlikely that there was a problem as she isnt showing physical signs
WIth the ears it all started around the same time and with the treatment she had a GA and washout followed by another two weeks of meds in her ears twice aday. It is very possible this could be the route of the problem either physically because something is still wrong or just because she knows her ears had hurt her and so has grown wary of being approached. She is fine at home and with dogs she knows atm
Will keep eyes in mind. Unfortunately the ophthalmic vet has left and is working for the pdsa
One of my problems is limited money as the insurance is unlikely to cover all this investigation particularly as the vet thinks all is fine not sure how to manage that.
well its things to look at as well as keeping her on a line and doing some extra work around others
