Heehee! Yes, I have a few 'fakers' here too :-P Although Remy does it to get in from the rain faster - all these years and he still hasn't twigged that he's just going to stay out there until he actually goes so if he just went first time, he'd get in much faster!
I love clicker training this lot - it can be so entertaining :-) I had a sesh the other night with them, started one-on-one then just did some stuff afterwards when they were all in the room. The one-on-one was hilarious - I was trying to do treiball basics with some, Raine know the push cue but we haven't done it in a while and in her manic moment of trying to earn a click, she ran the gym ball across the room with her front paws :-D I nearly wet myself, it was so funny!
And little Willow - who I've not done it with before - was just not getting the hang of nosing the ball, didn't do it once until after when I was just sat down on here, clicking Phoebe for any looks at the ball (she thinks it's evil so any treiball atm is done very low-pressure with her, outside of a 'formal' training sesh), she was starting to nose it happily when Willow just marched over and pushed it perfectly!
The best bit though was after that - I decided to work on getting my retrieve-crazies to drop their finds into a basket rather than me just piling everything up on my desk as usual. So, basket on floor, I ended up with one dog bringing something and dropping it in; another dog taking it out again so they could drop it in; another dog nicking it off them so
they could drop it in; then Willow realising what was going on, stealing everything they were bringing and running off with it! I finally gave up when Linc was stood in the basket with his offering :-D
