
She's had a comfortable night and I'm going to see her at around 10.30am. She's still very sleepy and drugged up and the head vet feels she would need to refer her to a specialist if I wanted to go the surgical route (which I don't want to do) as it may be Wobblers AND a prolapsed disc. The surgery carries significant risk and I don't think it would be fair to put her through it - she's such an active, playful dog. She said we can try cage rest and pain medication for a while and see how it goes, so I'll see how she is when I visit, see if she'll eat and pee/poo and make a decision then...
