Just realised in 7 yrs I've never had occasion to use Thornit on Storm ( have it in the Med kit for when I used to clear the Eurasier's ears )
He's a typical Husky and likes to look after his feet, curling in bed and treating himself to a nibbling pedicure (usually when I'm trying to sleep!)
He's been paying one particular paw more attention today and in my process of elimination of what could be in/wrong with the paw, there does appear to be slight evidence in one ear of mites.
So, I'm conversant with using Thornit in ears but have never used it on paws...
I'm safe to assume am I that as Thornit advise a technique of putting paw into a bag containing their powder that it's ok if the dog subsequently licks it??
Anyone that uses Thornit on paws got any tips? Do you leave it once powdered, is it ok if it gets licked? Do you cover the paw after dosing????
Any tips gratefully received!
