Have been looking into buying some Slippery Elm Bark powder to keep in my medicine cupboard. Has anyone had a bad experience with it? Sounds like just the thing for upset stomachs!
those of you who use it, where do you purchase? It isn't cheap but a small amount will go a long way.
I get mine from Hilton Herbs. I don't keep it in the medicine cupboard. I use it daily.
I have a toy breed that can get the squits if they eat something they shouldn't. I use far less Protexin since I started using it a couple of years ago. Just a sprinkle on the food is enough for my small dogs.
Many years ago we used to keep Slippery Elm from Dorwest "just in case". Now I'd rather use Protexin Pro-kolin+, so easy to administer as I find with our breed that if they have an upset tummy they don't want food.

Yes, I do always have Prokolin in the cupboard.
