I was at that show and I remember you with your little girl. The Judge should not have asked you to leave the ring for just having a patch as they are NOW excepted.

Last we heard the judge is refusing to give a statement so we have now gone higher up in kennel club. I want to show her again but other half is apprehensive until all this caboodle is over and done with, honestly I don't think there will be an outcome. She's still our little girl, but it drives me insane still whenever I think about it!

It really does not matter if a patch is allowed or not there are no disqualifying faults in the UK the ONLY reasons a dog can be sent from the ring is health and aggression and then a report has to be made to the secretary.

Even if it were a fault, there are no disqualifying faults in the UK standards so no dog should be asked to leave the ring for other than health or temperament issues.

Like Brainless says, show her if you want to - hopefully not many judges will be like that! And at least you know more now and can politely refuse to be excused just because of a patched ear.
