Our local park charity has recently invested in some sizeable marquees (4m x 10m).
They were delivered in heavy duty cardboard boxes which, unfortunately, disintegrated on the first day of use in heavy rain.
Does anyone have any ideas on what we should buy to store them in their constituent parts ie: a lot of six foot poles plus joints and awnings?
Bags have been suggested but none seem robust enough.
All ideas gratefully considered.
Thanks,
Mutty
When we buy they usually come in canvas bags - but we are scouts.
If they get wet they will get mouldy - try a ship chandlery for canvas - if thats too dear try Ikea type plastic or invest in some tarpaulins from B&Q, Jewsons.
But keep them dry or they will not survive. Another idea is part wrap in industrial cling film then put in a bag but dont cover them all or they may sweat - leave the ends open - should be ok.
