> They are both putting on weight well, not as well as they were but they are running around a lot now and so they will loose a little from that,
I expect pups until they reach 12 weeks to put on weight at an increased rate.
When weight gain levels off it shows me they need to be on solids as Mum hasn't enough milk to keep pace.
When worming I do find their appetites can reduce for the second and third day, but within 24 hours of last dose whey are back to being piggy.
This is why I like to start my pups on solids before I worm.
As I worm the bitch through the last weeks of pregnancy I start pups on solids at 18 days and start the worming at 21 days, ensuring they are wormed after a feed.
I have never had constipation after worming, rather the reverse if anything.
Constipation can occur if there is a heavy worm burden causing a blockage, but Panacur normally dissolves the worms. I have seen whole worms passed in a very wormy rescue litter, in fact pups were pot bellied and anaemic.
