Just got an email from Hemopet, the charity Dr Jean Dodds works within testing and interpreting thyroid test results from all over the world.
She has written a book about it:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Canine-Thyroid-Epi...1261&sr=8-3Tis on my wish list, hopefully I will be able to get it soon having Remy and Soli definitely with hypothyroidism and most likely Paige now as well. Sigh.
There is also a wee article about diagnosing it for vets:
http://www.veterinarypracticenews.com/vet-...d-function.aspxMight be worth printing out and taking in (I'm taking a copy to my vet today) as IME, vets are often pretty lacking in knowledge about the various ins and outs of thyroid problems, especially the importance of doing a full panel (rather than just one or two factors as seems to be standard, T4 being the usual one) and the wide range of symptoms that can be linked to a thyroid problem.
