Anybody know of any Disinfectant to help prevent this spreading, dog has come home with it!

Safe4 disinfectant is effective against MRSA. Their website is www.safe4disinfectant.com.

Collodial Silver kills MRSA, do a web search and work out the best way to treat the dogs

MRSA can only be spread if they are licking wounds on other dogs. When my dog had it I had puppies etc here as well so looked into all this. Only time I separated was a new mum who had had a section so that my ill dog could not lick or cough on the wound.

How is this mountaindreams?  MRSA is an airbourne disease as far as I know???  Many of us have it without knowing, naturally without going into a hospital and having a procedure done so I would have thought that dogs would be the same?

It is what I was told. Human to animal the disease spreads but not animal to animal for some reason unless through open wounds.

I had weak pups here and they didnt get it and the dog in question was in the room with them.
