I have down ones on the top, and have had to put aslightly firmer poly something from Debenhams on the bottom (the blurb said it was closeset thing to goose down) The "fake" one is a bit firmer, as my physio said one of my neck problems coudl be related to the height difference between where my shoulder was resting and my neck position, and I needed to increase the height slightly, so go for a plly filling which is slightly firmer than the down one. I was lucky in having won some Debenhams voucher, so got the poly ones from there, got the Down ones from M&S in the January sale (online) when I got my discount vouchers - I think lots of sales are still on now, so may be a good time to get out looking, either in person or online. My personal preference for quality everyday bedlinen is John Lewis or M& S. I have a friend who has just got a silk filled Duvet and pillows and she says they are fantastic, so might be worth looking at - they were advertised in a homestyle type magazine, sorry don't have the details.
