Just asking, because I've done this a couple of times on here, hopefully not in a critical way, but because during the course of my time owning dogs, being on the internet on various forums, I've come across lots of deceptions and would hope, by querying *something* someone brings up in a thread, that it might either help them avoid the same sort of deception, or clarify they haven't fallen foul of something similar.
Do you think in general, it's acceptable to ask questions that are related to topics to try and raise awareness of issues that might not have been raised initially by the OP? I alway try to do this, if I spot something, in a way that's non-judgemental, although I am often in a hurry, so can see that my responses may be rather matter of fact. And I hope at the very least, that if it is something that hasn't affected the op, then it's something others who may be browsing the internet can read and learn from.
Do you think it's worthwhille expanding on issues, or is it just unwanted input bordering on OT?
