You need to work out if the cost of the medication and treatment for the epilepsy outways the £100 increase. I know with one of my Dobes who is hypothyroid the medication is relatively cheap, as are the once yearly blood tests. She was with M&S and they hiked the premiums up so much it just wasn't worth staying with them (the thyroid problem was diagnosed before insuring with them and I never attempted to claim being a pre-existing condition) and I don't think I ever made a claim with them.
My 5 dogs are now with AXA, the cover is good, the premiums are reasonable and they have even gone down on a couple of renewals.
