I agree, they can not stop it. The only thing they can do is not sell to the show or working world, just sell their pups as pets if it erks them so much.
I really can't understand their reasoning as breeders with affixes yes, the pup has our affix at the forefront it shows where the pup has come from, who bred it and if it does well our names are
always there, but the new owner, owns it, raised it, trained it, looked after it, shows or works it, why do they have a problem with them adding their affix to the rear of the name to show off their hard work too? It's very selfish isn't it?
The only problem I can see is if the pup goes on to become good breeding stock does really well in the show or working world and they have a fit about lifting endorsements once they see the new owners affix at the rear of the name, that might be a problem, but perhaps the KC and solicitors would have to become involved so that is worth thinking about.
I'd like to know their reasoning..........
