Yes agree with Tanya Obstetric Gel its also far cheaper.

as and when needed.... you cannot "overdose" on it.... will do no harm, just may leave your floor a bit slippery if she gets out whelping box lol

I have always got the hyperdrug one in stock. But I only use it when a pup is stuck. Sometimes, with feet first pups, and the head still inside, it helps them out easier with the next contraction.
Picked a tube of KY up in the pound shop, was 4.00 in boots i think, it pays to look in there first :-)

The proper obstetric gel is much slidier. Pups come out more easily. And it's a huge bottle for £3, so it's no dearer than your pound shop buy.
If i have another litter at any point i will get some, she is due any day now! Thanks :-D

It's £3 then £4.30 postage......so not that cheap really
i think if you are getting alot of stuff at the same time then it works out good , £4.30 is a lot of money for postage on 1 thing !!

Obstetric Gel is 550ml KY is 50ml, even with postage Obstetric Gel is cheaper.
