spoke to vet and is happy to leave her ,just took her temp again and it 35.8 so looks like still early stage :( or maybe her temp will go up soon .

been following this topic for what feels like weeks lol... hurry up puppies!!!!

haha! i know :) but its only been 5day lol ,shes just been sick again ,and she panting and restless bless her , i keep telling her "come on " shes just looking at me as if to say get them out then :( ....hopefuly only afew more hours :0 ! x

nothing!!!!!! shes asleep now just lots of panting when shes awake! and when she goes out she keeps weein but nothing coming out ,pups must be pressing down now ! her eyes are looking alittle bloodshot but she does have some gunk coming out 1 of them ,im bathing with salt water and will get it looked at when she goes to vets for check after pups :) ive spoke with vet and thr happy to see her in the morning if she hasnt had them ,her temp as gone up abit to 36.3 lol i couldnt wait for it to go down ,and now i want it back up so i know its time lol

good luck hone im at the other end of the phone should you need support.i dont do puppy siting tho while you sleep.it would take me 6 hours to get to you and id need the sleep lol.

I have seen this happen, and it has been very weak contractions.  I am still concerned that we might be looking at inertia.

good morning every1 well she started at 1.15.....very big pup and didnt stop till 6 shes just rested ready to start again we have 8 up to now ,2 born not in sacks :( but are doing well but 1 of them is very very tiny "half the weight of the others she ready now must go

what a night lol she started contracting at 10.30 but not very strong till 1am then water bag burst and that was it :) 3 of them came that close together i couldnt write anything down didnt know if it was boys or girls lol, was on my own , well mum is still settled but i can feel more im sure so im going to ring vets ,all are feeding and mum hasnt stoped cleaning them all yet lol ,will get the doppler out very soon and see if i can hear heart beats! will let you know if anymore come and hopfuly alive! up to yet 5girls 3boys :)

Woo hoo finally.  congrat on the babies and coping with with things going quick.  Never thought she was going to have them (lol).  I bet your very proud of mum, you might get some sleep next week if your lucky lol.

well ive had 2h sleep lol ...off to the vets soon think she has plsenta still ,plus i could hear something with the doppler ? so best to be safe than sorry ,she not settlin very well and panting way to much for my likeing going at 3.30 il update when i get back ....im sure she has 2more babys ? but 9h after last 1 was born ,im sure they will be deid if she has ?

Good luck, my boy from our last litter was born 11 hours after his sisters - obviously fancied a lie in!! He was the most active at the birth out of all of them, I thought he'd be tired but he was desperate to get out!!

Placentas can arrive afterwards on their own but if you're going to the Vet anyway........

I can remember taking one of my girls to the vet as she had retained a couple of placentas, got to the vets car park, walked her to the door and out one dropped, lifted her onto the examination table and out dropped the next....lol.

well no more babys "thank goodness" 8 is enough for 1st time mum:) ...she was scanned so my mind at rest now! now i can get some sleep lol(ya right) not sure if little girl will make it yet :( having alot of trouble with her cring ,will we have to see! xx

I've only ever had a couple of litters (with rescue dogs not deliberate breeding) and it's so tempting to try and help the runt if there is one. In the end I went with trusting it to nature but did make sure the little one was helped to find the nipple. Hope she makes it... bet if she does she'll be the one you want to keep!
