Does anyone use either of these for allergies and have an opinion on quality of the food? We have been advised by the vet to put Treacle onto a hypoallergenic food as she has problems with her ears (itchy and inflamed despite anti histamine, steroids and anti-yeast treatments). She will be going for allergy blood tests in August but we have been advised to change her to this in the meantime. We know she is allergic to cheese and probably other dairy but not what else is causing this itch.
I got her some Wafcol at the weekend but noticed Wainwrights and thought it looked roughly the same in terms of ingredients but there is a big price differential £41 v £30 in PAH. I know I could buy cheaper on the web but does anyone know if these foods are equivalent in terms of quality and palatability for the dogs?
Any info would be useful and if anyone is any good at comparing ingredient lists they are:
