Even aidan cried after Simons comments tonight.

SO,

After 2 youngsters in tears at whats happened the question is should the age limit be raised as suggested by certain parts of the media?
What do you all think?

What do you all think?

Susan was also very nearly in tears and was trying to hold them back....Should there be an uppper age limit aswell?
- By St.Domingo Date 30.05.09 20:09 UTC Edited 30.05.09 20:15 UTC
Stavros Flatley to win for pure entertainment .

Susan is too much of a loose cannon for me - you never know what she will do or say next .
I don't think Hollie should have got a second chance as no-one else did .
Diversity were fab , that little lad with all the hair is very brave !
2 Grand i like as how many Grandparents and Grandchildren do you see together - i love the family generation thing .

The boy dancer wasn't anything special today .

- By briedog [gb] Date 30.05.09 20:14 UTC
the plot thickend then on joolz or juilan
- By inthemistuk [gb] Date 30.05.09 20:17 UTC
Stavros for me as well...they really make you feel good when you watch them....
- By purplehaze [gb] Date 30.05.09 20:23 UTC
At last finally managed to get through to vote for stavros flatley, dont know what went wrong but my phone is working again now.

Just wanted to add on tonights performance and although I have liked them all the way through, so I feel bad saying it,sorry Flawless but Diversity blew you off stage tonight and yes that little lad with the hair is very brave,I dont think I could be hurtled through the air at break neck speed for someone to catch me at the end or to land on my feet as solid as he does.

Still for me its GO Stavros Flatley :)

I just got through as well...no problem :-)

I NEVER vote in these things but I just love these guys :-)  Diversity were excellent as well, though....that's the first time I've seen them and they were awesome.  I missed the first dance troupe (Flawless?) but no-one else was anything special tonight, IMO.
- By chelzeagirl [gb] Date 30.05.09 20:29 UTC
Flawless were great i had to vote for them their mates with my sons dance group but shhhhh as i had to vote for Diversity also as i do think their set was better than flawless tonight, but you never heard me say that ;-)
- By sandrah Date 30.05.09 20:37 UTC
I think the top three will be Susan, Stavros Flatley and Diversity.  I would love to see Julian win it though.
- By HuskyGal Date 30.05.09 20:40 UTC
I'm totally torn between Stavros Flatley and Diversity both of which for me have displayed not only the talent (In Diversity's case ;)) but the 'spirit' and values this Country needs to be reminded of!! :D
The 2 young boys Shaheen and oh cant remember his name the little dancer.... both such professionals and gentlmen.
I tend to prefer the acts who have no formal training but sheer 'raw' self perfecting talent. I almost wish they'd split it into 2 catagories the under 25's and the overs... because I truly can't decide!
- By ShaynLola Date 30.05.09 20:52 UTC
Stavros Flatley were robbed!!  Oh well...hope Diversity do it now :-D
- By HuskyGal Date 30.05.09 20:54 UTC
*Passes Jules a Hendricks to drown our sorrows*

Hmmmmm.... Hope its diversity too.
- By ShaynLola Date 30.05.09 20:55 UTC
Yay for Diversity :-D :-D
- By HuskyGal Date 30.05.09 20:55 UTC
(((((((((((((( Yay!!! )))))))))))))))))

Best act won.  I can't fathom how Susan Boyle made the final cut, I think half of Scotland must've voted for her regardless.
- By Dogz Date 30.05.09 21:06 UTC
Hooray.............BGT2 now...
I am so pleased, really think that diversity guy is a genius.
Karen :)

i saw the pictures of the little girl in the papers and i thought, whose idea was it to allow such young children on the show, she looked distraught.No-one that young should be under that kind of pressure. It must feel so different doing the show live,no chance to stop when you're not sure of the words, without feeling you've made a mess of everything. Her mum should have walked on,told the audience she wouldn't be coming back on and thanked them for their support. There's plenty of time for her to make a success of herself if she can and wants to.I honestly don't think that after the initial interviews and a few guest slots after the final, that anyone will remember the winner in 4 months time.
Sixteen is more like the minimum age I think.

Out of the top 3 Im glad Diversity won, shame that stavros flatley didnt make the top 3, dont want to take anything away from Diversity as like I said tonight they blew Flawless away but I am suspicious of these phone line voting things as there has been vote riggin in the past (especially with ITV) and it was funny how for ages my phone was dead when i tried to vote then about 9pm it was back to normal even though my phone was working perfectly well and I could dial other numbers to vote .

Anyway like I said dont want to take anything away from Diversity tonight they were the best of all the dance acts easily
- By perrodeagua [gb] Date 30.05.09 21:31 UTC
I tried voting for Shaun Smith, lines were continiously engaged, seems a fiddle to me!!  They should have enough phone lines to cope.
- By ShaynLola Date 30.05.09 21:45 UTC
As I understand it, it's not so much about the number if lines ITV have available but the demand placed on the exchange that you are connected to.  If there is a huge number of people in your local area trying to make calls at the same time, the exchange can only deal with so many at a time hence why some people will have more problems than others at getting through.
- By ChristineW Date 30.05.09 22:01 UTC
It took me 3 attempts to vote for Diversity but about 8 to vote for Flawless and they didn't make the top 3 so it must be BT not coping!
- By bilbobaggins [gb] Date 30.05.09 22:27 UTC
No he has a site Julian Smith aka Joolz Gianni  it tells of him being in a band since 1993 and shows the BGT clip!!
Conned again...

> No he has a site Julian Smith aka Joolz Gianni

Well at least now i have some way of contacting him. I thought as he was playing how good he would be for a special occasion/function..
- By lumphy [gb] Date 31.05.09 07:16 UTC
How disapointing is that ;o(  Doesnt take away the fact he is a brilliant sax player but i do feel cheated. So much for being a struggling teacher needing a break.   glad he didnt win because he hasnt been honest about himself but wish him well as i really enjoyed listening to him.

Pleased Holly didnt make the final 3. I dont think her singing voice is natural more a product of coaching. would love to hear her singing naturally though.

big problem now is what am i going to do on a sat night and when will i get my next Simon Cowell fix lol
- By Carrington Date 31.05.09 08:28 UTC
How disapointing is that

I agree, I don't understand it when we have the internet how can anyone ever believe their life is private? The moment you are in the newspaper or on screen your life is an open book, the same with the old man on disability.

I did still love him though and I wanted him to win, though very happy with the winners they were fantastic!!!

My little gripe, well big gripe............Aiden (the dancer) who dressed him? What were they thinking? He started off as a cool kid and ended up looking like my grandfather. His act was nothing compared to the previous night why did he just not do that one again, (as George did) who chose that song for him? It was unforgetable - I can't even remember what it was. I actually had him down as being in the top three but after the act he was easily forgettable, I can't help but be a little cynical that he was sabotaged so that two years in a row a young boy dancer did not win, I can't believe that the boy chose his outfit for a breakdancing kind of act, whoever did wants sacking. IMO :-) Image is everything.

What shocked me most was Hollie's statement about how when she talked she sounded like she came from Accrington but when she sang she sounded different.  So maybe Accrington isn't the most glamourous of places (I don't know as I don't recall ever going there?!) BUT I'm appalled to find such shallow values in such a young child.

I'd have love to see Julian win - I stood to gain £130 on a wager!  (Demonstrating the shallow values of adulthood!!!)

And I am off to see if I can get a CD by Joolz Gianni..... He gave me goose bumps absolutley brilliant...
