Thanks for your support, OH got home about 4.30, (he is on local council and they had planning committee that started at 9.30AM!!!!! ) so felt lot better with someone to talk to.
Yet another update.............Vet on phone about 5.45, he is ok and waking up. they used endoscope to check stomach, it showed a bit of inflamed area either from irritation of something gone thru or viral bug he had picked up, then they checked all sm & lg intestine, no signs of anything. they are keeping him slightly sedated and on a drip over night to make sure he is hydrated and as long as he pees ok and eats something in morning I can ring about 11am and sort to pick him up. :-) :-)
I mentioned the insurance and vet said removal took all of about 3-4 mins and 2 ligatures and all the rest GA, surgery etc was essential to investigate problem.so they may be picky but only about a couple of quid :-).
to Dogs a babe,
who is the Neil Young fan? sorry didn't even know it was name of album....... 1st Gsd was Zigi, next was Zan and this ones sire is called Zasco so he HAD to be a Z????. did think of Zeno but they envisaged shouting 'No Zeno No' and rapidly changed mind.
anyway I feel bit happier than I did this am.
