Hello,
I have a query about my 2.5 year old border collie dog. He is usually very active and very fit. Although he is currently very lethargic and just not himself.
Today: Refused his biscuits for breakfast, when let out all morning he "mooched" around quite dazed and not interested in anything. He refused further treats at lunch. On his walk this afternoon he had a normal poo. Also on his walk he was very slow for a dog that usually pulls all the way, he also layed down half way home so OH encouraged him home. He has slept since then and is still not interested in anything and very lethargic.
Last monday evening he was similar that he was lethargic and not interested in anything but he was also cold to touch so I took him to the lounge where it is warmer (as I thought he was cold from being in an outside run all day) and he slept a few hours then was up playing and very happy.
I am hoping that when he has slept for a few hours tonight he will be back to normal.
Does anybody have any ideas?? He has had a normal weekend: show one day, walk/run second day. He is awake alot more on a weekend as he is with us and during the week he is in an outdoor run all day. Is it any significance that OH has started running every third day with him for the past two-three weeks??
Let me know your thoughts
