As a raw feeder I don't know the ins and outs of the ingredients in complete food but was recently given a very small sample bag of Burns venison and brown rice complete which I was going to use as training treats. It's a pocket sized bag with about 40 bits of kibble in it.
I have just looked at the ingredients listed which are as follows : Brown rice (min 50%), Fish (min 27%), Oats, Peas, Sunflower Oil, Seaweed, minerals and vitamins.
In view of the fact that it is called venison and brown rice I would have thought it would contain venison

The packet says the food was developed by a veterinary surgeon so I am wondering how the vet managed to qualify if he/she is unable to tell the difference between a fish and a deer

Does anyone feed this to their dogs, and if so, would you be have a quick look at the ingredients on the packet and see if yours says the same. :)
