I am afraid that, as attractive as im sure they are, having recently seen a 'doodle' breeders website, i am not impressed in the slightest.
A doodle will cost you around a thousand pounds. Given most breeders on here would say it costs around £200 - £300 per pup to raise a litter (more IF there are complications, which could be expected in tiny toy breeds or bull dogs), thats £700 PROFIT per pup.
Any doodle breeder is breeding for MONEY, and when money is your main objective, other things like temperament, parents health etc start to take a backseat.
The site i saw was even offering to deliver the pup and bring mum and dad for the new owner to see!!!
Avoid, dont touch with a barge pole. There are breeds out there with similar traits, the spanish adn portugese water dogs, the irish water spaniel for starters, and when you buy one of THOSE, you know what you are getting. You arent going to end up with a golden retreivers body on a standard poodles legs, or a poodle head on a goldie, or a poodle with a goldies coat etc!
