Consumer report coming up....
It was easy to assemble its held together with metal coils, it seems sturdy enough for my weims, the only thing I would say is make sure the measurements are accurate and double check them. We asked for a cage 36" high, as the doorway into the car was 36 and 1/2" so we had half inch to spare......... it actually measures 36 1/2" and we couldnt get it in the car, but when I rang the man and told him he said to bend in the sides to bring the top down and we have managed to get it in.... but its a tight fit. When measuring make sure you allow for any trim, by that I mean our car has an interior light on a panel behind the door on the roof and we didnt allow for this and as I said its a tight fit. The doors are held shut by a hook type of thingy and its easy to open but the dogs wouldnt be able to open it. Only way of actually locking them would be to buy a padlock.
I am pleased with it and the dogs like it, only thing I dont like is the 2" gap under the door, but the man said that is there to enable you to put the lead on the dog thru the handhole half way up the door and then pass the lead under the door so you have hold of the dog before you open the door, a good idea I suppose!
It cost me just under £200 which I dont think is a bad price. If you decide to go for it, make your measurements a bit smaller rather than just to fit.... and its taken a month to come....
